The 5 intrepid swimmers have dates set at either 16th 17th or 18th July 2013. Actual date will be confirmed closer to the swim, due to tide constraints.

3.4 Miles open water swim across the Solent situated on the Southern most coast of the UK between the Isle of Wight and Portsmouth. The stretch of water is one of the busiest shipping cargo lanes in the world with sea currants strong enough to knock boats off course.
